Domaine Digioia-Royer

is a small domaine established in 1930.

Michel Digioia has been running the business since 1999. 

The domaine is located in Chambolle - Musigny in Burgundy, a land, par excellence, elegant anf full of charm.

  • Pinot noir: a reader of the terroir with a crispy light body, it is characterized by an aroma of red fruits, hints of underbrush with delicate typical vegetal and animal notes. A wine able to create great emotions.
  • Chardonnay: is characterized by elegance, finesse, and cleanliness.
  • Aligoté: is characterized by freshness.

It is a noble, austere, deep, almost fleshy, red wine with a bouquet that recalls the abandonment of the senses. Spring floral scents  such as rose petals in  sweet awakening, violets and dew. A vegetal touch of geranium. Hints of earth and ferruginous aromas on the finish. And even blackberries, balsamic flavour for a wine that is ample and invites you to taste it again.

Masterful touch with a persuasive juiciness and delicate fullness.

The lively scarlet cloth is the first step for a wine that, in its path, meets aromas of cherry and gooseberry. And along the way floral scents of violet and humus. Time will accentuate hints of violet, fruit and musk .

Fresh and crunchy wine with hints of fresh grapes to the taste. Juicy and solid, strong and intense. The structure is that of a youthful wine with soft tannins. Deep.
